This project focused on finding a way to evaluate graphical inputs. The result was a prototype Java application where functions can be sketched and are evaluated as correct or incorrect.

This work built upon the insights and prototype from "Sketch a Function". The prototype was converted into a Java Applet and integrated into the eLearning platform LON-CAPA (lon-capa.org). A new question type (graphresponse) was implemented. Due to various minor issues, it has not yet been released in the production version.

Created as part of the "Cluster Computing" lecture. It covers the fundamentals of GPU computing and provides insights into available frameworks (CUDA, OpenCL). Additionally, NVIDIA's Fermi architecture is examined in detail.

The network infrastructure of the student dorm Dukegat in Emden (dukegat.de) was modernized. A new server was procured and configured with Debian Squeeze. Residents are managed via a web interface, which also allows administrators to monitor individual bandwidth usage.

During a six-month internship at the Volkswagen plant in Emden, the production documentation server for the Bodyshop Maintenance department was optimized. This included developing a new concept and implementing it as a Document Management System based on PHP and MySQL.

Concept and development of an iPhone app for Tunnel Club Hamburg (tunnel.de). The app provides direct access to news, events, and party shots. Data is retrieved via a REST web service. App Store

Concept and development of an iPhone app for a well-known discount retailer to conduct store audits. This is an enterprise app with backend integration and a web frontend.

As an external contractor at Volkswagen's AppFactory InnovationLab in Wolfsburg, work focused on innovative mobile device topics, including vehicle-communicating apps. Examples include the Porsche Track Precision App: App Store
